From an early age, Blake immersed himself in scouting—four years in Cub Scouts and seven years in Boy Scouts—where he achieved the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout. Along the way, he has cultivated a love for leadership and giving back, regularly volunteering in his community and serving as a safety range officer at shooting matches across the country.

His dedication to discipline and hard work also extended to martial arts, where he trained in Wado-Ryu Karate for six years. Earning a black belt with certification from Japan, Blake excelled in sparring competitions, bringing home a state title and cementing his place as a skilled and driven athlete.

In 2019, Blake discovered his passion for competitive shooting. Starting with a .22 rimfire match using gear borrowed from a friend, he quickly honed his skills and entered the professional circuit in 2024. Competing in at least two matches per month, he has participated in major events such as Generation III Gun and monthly matches at Dead Zero Shooting Park in Spencer, Tennessee. His journey in the shooting community is not just about personal achievements but also about fostering bonds and building a family among fellow competitors.

To support his growing presence in the shooting world, Blake began working in late 2022, using his earnings to fund his pursuits. His strong work ethic and determination have since allowed him to take on even greater opportunities, ensuring his continued success in competitive shooting.

Blake is also committed to maintaining his physical fitness, having started a consistent workout regimen in December 2024. This dedication to physical well-being complements his shooting career, as well as his broader goal of self-improvement.
